The new 5one brand is launched and our next generation of proprietary Shopper Centre applications are introduced to our retail and FMCG clients . 5one’s activities in North America continue to expand, as its signs a contract with leading Canadian department store, Holt Renfrew.
5one South Africa helps Pick n Pay's Smart Shopper programme become the biggest in Africa, with over 6 million members. 5one is contracted by the Selfridges Group to define its global customer engagement strategy for the omnichannel age.
5one South Africa expands rapidly and moves to 2 new locations in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
5one signs a ground breaking contract with South Africa's premier grocery chain Pick n Pay to launch Africa's first grocery loyalty programme, Smart Shopper. 5one operations are launched in the USA, the New York office is opened and a long-term agreement is signed with the USA's most prestigious department store, Saks Fifth Avenue.
5one works with Galeries Lafayette on defining its customer-centric roadmap. LaSer launches its Customer Demand Chain proposition, powered by 5one’s Shopper Centre platform.
5one launches its South African operation in Cape Town with clients including Woolworths and Clicks. Work begins with Modelo Continente, Portugal’s largest grocer, to create a customer centric approach and strategy.
5one becomes part of LaSer, Europe’s leading provider of marketing and payment solutions to retailers, with a turnover of €1.7bn and a presence in 6 European markets.
5one starts work in South Africa with major H&B retailer, Clicks, to drive greater value from its loyalty programme. 5one wins “Best Use Of Data In Retail” at the Data Strategy Award for offer optimisation with Boots.
5one implements the ground breaking offer optimisation software for Boots to drive their direct marketing effort through the Advantage Card.
Already 20 strong, 5one works with some of the leading retailers in the world including Boots in the UK, the Metro Group in Germany and Albertsons in the USA.
Work begins with Payback’s partners defining their customer strategy within the scheme. 5one begins a long-term contract with Bupa private medical insurance in the UK.
5one is founded by 4 industry professionals with expertise in customer analysis, marketing, database and technology solutions. 5one wins a major contract with Payback in Germany to define a customer engagement strategy for the coalition loyalty scheme.
